This is a conveniently located house that was well suited for our family reunion -- a large dining room table, two seating areas, a second eating area that we used for the group jigsaw puzzle, and an excellent HVAC system with fans that kept us comfortably cool in the hot Texas summer.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. On the first day, we were given the wrong address and accidentally entered a different house before realizing the mistake.
When we got to the correct property, the beds had a strong sweet odor, making us question whether the sheets had been properly cleaned. We also found rat droppings in one of the bedrooms. We reported both issues right away, but they weren’t addressed until the day before we were scheduled to leave. Because of the delay, we ended up moving to a different house.
The property itself was okay, but it’s an older home and, in our opinion, overpriced for its condition.
To the host’s credit, they sent us pizza and drinks as an apology, which we appreciated. However, this review reflects our honest experience. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.

The home was just beautiful - so many wonderful and thoughtful touches throughout. We experienced a hiccup at check-in to no fault of B&B Hosting but they truly went above and beyond quickly to make sure everything was top notch. The way they handled this hiccup was exactly as one would hope any company would treat their customers. Sadly, most companies have lost that touch in customer service. Not B&B Hosting! They won a customer for all future bookings when visiting Abilene. We look forward to booking with them time and time again.
