My stay here from the moment I put in the driveway was a awesome experience. The ambience of the place was just breathtaking beautiful art,  furniture, and art very beautiful and unique. It also has a lot of parking a beautiful kitchen and very comfy bedding. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a stay in Abilene and would definitely use again when I visit there.

A Wonderful Stay We absolutely loved our stay! Allison’s place was beautifully decorated with a stylish and unique touch—it truly felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. We especially appreciated arriving to a clean home with Christian music playing and a beautiful cake waiting for us! What a sweet and thoughtful touch. ❤️ The location was also perfect for us, only about 15 minutes from Abilene Christian University. The only minor downside was that an occasional sewer smell would sweep through the property every now and then. We’re not sure if it was related to the nearby construction, and thankfully, it never lasted very long. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again. We’re so grateful for Allison’s hospitality and the peaceful, Christ-centered atmosphere. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. This place is absolutely stunning! Words truly can not explain the beauty of the sunrise and sunset you receive! The pool was perfect with the waterfall and hearing Mother Nature in the background. We have been needing a quiet couples getaway for some time, this was the perfect place to disconnect from our jobs and unwind in a peaceful place. With a mini fridge on premises, you'll have to take non-perishable foods as well. We took an extra cooler. This was the perfect location for a much needed R&R mini vacation! We will be back to experience the hot tub in full effect (the heat was up to 101 degrees, which made the pool feel heated)! I recommend this place 100%.

This house was amazing! It was everything the description said and more. Cute, charming, and homey! The neighborhood was so nice and we felt very safe. Our family loved hanging out in the backyard. Our boys loved all of the games y’all had for us to play. My husband and I enjoyed sitting around the fire pit even though it was too hot to turn on. The ambiance was perfect! We really enjoyed staying here! Thank you for the handwritten note and cookies! That was so sweet!

While on an errand, my family had a car wreck and Nathan and the B&B Team went over and beyond kind and helpful to bring us breakfast and cupcakes for my sons Birthday after I spent the night in the ER. Excellent stay! The hosts truly made us feel right at home. We were celebrating my uncle’s birthday, and they went above and beyond to make the experience special. When we arrived, they had personalized birthday messages displayed on the TV screens, which was such a unique and thoughtful touch! They also surprised him with a birthday bowl filled with a few goodies. The house was beautiful, clean, and exactly as pictured. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again!

We were looking for a place in Abilene to celebrate a birthday, visit with family and relax before the school year begins. This place was hands down the best choice for us! They went above and beyond to help us celebrate by setting out a balloon, hand written card and birthday treats. The kids playroom was a fantastic way to keep kiddos busy while adults were visiting, they really enjoyed the setup in there! The house itself sleeps 9 people comfortably and was very clean. Amazing place. Aubrianna was an amazing host. Communication with her was very good. She even placed a gift inside for our softball girls. The arcade was very entertaining for our girls and even the adults. The home was very clean and had everything we needed inside. Would recommend this place to anyone.

The Photos did not give this place justice it was even more spectacular in person, the beds were super comfy the bathrooms and showers were all really nice they even put some waters in the fridge for us and some snacks in the kitchen, the backyard was beautiful. The AC worked really well as it was 104 outside and we were very comfortable in the house, there was a coffee maker for in the morning  and lots of fun games that were really neat. I would 11/10 recommend staying here to anyone and the host were super nice and made the whole experience perfect.

What a great host! This is the second time I’ve booked this place and it doesn’t disappoint. Everything you’re looking for, they have it. Pet friendly they even had a bed and dog bowls ready to use. They’re very communicative/understanding. We had a late check-out which caused us to fall behind on timing, thankfully they understood and were very kind about it! This is a conveniently located house that was well suited for our family reunion -- a large dining room table, two seating areas, a second eating area that we used for the group jigsaw puzzle, and an excellent HVAC system with fans that kept us comfortably cool in the hot Texas summer.

Very nice place, lots of room inside and out. The kids loved the backyard and so did the adults. The shade for the yard is strategically placed which helps a ton with the heat. Very nice kitchen. Bathrooms are well stocked.

There was a slight miscommunication regarding check in time, but it was handled extremely professional & they took the time to personally come by the house with some goodies & gift cards. They also had some cake pops & birthday balloons for 2 birthdays that we were there for. It was all very much appreciated & we would definitely stay here again!

Host rented out a house with bad plumbing and crazy next door neighbors. When we first got there the water came out brown… The bathtub was clearly dirty and gross upon arrival, we would come to find out why later, and all the dishes were dirty.  We weren’t even comfortable to use the shower and thank goodness we didn’t because our second day into our stay the toilet clogged and would not be useable for the remainder of our stay. When we tried to plunge it, the water started coming up through the bathtub drain. That would explain the terrible sewage smell we experienced after waking up on our first day. Following that, our first day there the next door neighbor screamed and banged on the door when my baby was sleeping and then proceeded to collect piles of poop and throw it all over the porch. The host responded quickly to this, but I was nervous the entire rest of my stay that she would come back. I found out later the host was aware of their plumbing issues and still rented it out.

While I appreciate your feedback, we cannot fix something we do not know about. We were not aware of the indoor plumbing issue. Prior to your stay a leak was discovered between the house and the street. Plumbers were out there for a day and a half fixing that issue outside. That had nothing to do with the indoor plumbing. We have done repairs to the indoor plumbing as well in the last month, but the issue, to our knowledge, was resolved. Not one time during your stay was the inside issue mentioned. The gentleman next door has been there for 6-months. We have gotten to know him fairly well. The story about the dog does not ring true based on what we know about the neighbor and after talking with him (you said it was woman when we spoke by the way). He did mention strongly requesting to your husband, that you clean up the dog's mess right in front of his door. When our team was there picking up the dog feces, you had a long face to face conversation. Why was the plumbing not mentioned? What about the dishes and the floors? Additionally, the neighbor keeps his boots on the back patio as not to track mud into the house. Those boots went missing during your stay. Your communicated timing of the plumbing issue has now changed for a third time. One time it was the last night you couldn't take a shower, at first mention (the night right before check-out) your husband couldn't shower for "4 going on 5" nights. You only stayed 4 nights. This time there was toilet stoppage two days in and you weren't comfortable to take a shower at all. Through all of this we were not informed of any of it. Not one time. Until you wanted a refund the night before check-out, of course. Our response to the refund request was not immediate because there were enough inconsistencies that we felt like we needed time to investigate further. Of course you still got your refund.   Our investigation included all of our cleaning and inspection reports. Those reports pictured clean floors, clean dishes (yes we require pictures of the dishes), and a perfectly clean tub. No smell was reported in either report. Unfortunately we cannot post those here. Our inspectors would have caught all of your stated issues and they certainly would have caught a sewage smell. What guest would not report such rancid, horrible conditions as described in your review? Not one word was said to us until the last day when you wanted a refund. Unfortunately, our review system had a glitch and posted an automated review before we had completed our investigation and conversations with our team, the neighbor and the plumbers. It is also of note that the other side of the duplex had no such issues, and neither has the current guest.
