This place was so fun! It was just like described. The decor was great! Loved the pictures! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom linens were fresh smelling. My kids loved the movie room!

Mandy

airbnb

Nathan and B&B Hosting made sure we felt welcome right away with a personal message on the tv, water in the fridge and treats from local shops. The lemon custard was INCREDIBLE! We had a couple of little hiccups but they were addressed promptly and could not have been known ahead of time.

Kristi

Perfect clean and well equipped property for the ladies in our tennis group playing sectionals at Rose Park.

Great place to stay at and fish, there is bluegills down by the pier, and the separate house by the main house is a awesome concept! It is very peaceful, you will see deers all the time as well, only downside is at night there is aloottttt of bugs wherever there is light, but other than that, the host was very responsive and I was satisfied. This is more of a father son, let’s bring the kayaks and go into the lake type of house and I sure enjoyed it!

Alex

Thank you, Alex, for your wonderful feedback! I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed the peaceful setting and the fishing. We appreciate your insights and look forward to welcoming you back for more memorable adventures!

The place was perfect for a fun weekend for my son’s 16th birthday. The host was very friendly and went above and beyond to make it a special stay.

Lynsey

Thank you, Lynsey! I'm thrilled to hear that you and your son had a wonderful time celebrating his 16th birthday. Your kind words mean a lot, and I look forward to welcoming you back for more special moments in the future!

We had a comfortable stay with our family here. Would definitely stay again!

Rachael

One of my best Air BNB experiences! Beautiful decor, clean, well air conditioned, safe & convenient neighborhood. It is not really close to downtown as listing says but everywhere in Abilene is a relatively close drive, so that’s not an issue for this exceptional property. Thanks for a great experience.

April

Thank you, April, for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear you had such a great experience and that our property worked well for your special occasion. We appreciate your suggestions and look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Nathan

The place was clean and perfect for two for a weekend in Abilene for a wedding. Next time I would bring extra blankets because the quilts on the beds were thin and I couldn’t find any extras. Other than that, everything else was great! Would stay again!

Ashton

Nathan and Rebecca is very communicative and gives quick responses for any of your needs. We enjoyed our stay and recommend them to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This was our 2nd time to stay at this location. Host are extremely attentive, and pleasant to speak with. We extended our stay by one evening and they were very accommodating. Our team loved the brownie in the fridge the first stay and really enjoyed the local salsa and chips this stay. Home is very comfortable and clean. This is our go to rental when we work in this area. Thank you for hosting us.

Jennifer

It was a great place to stay and pretty clean. Nathan is an amazing host, very responsive, and willing to help. I'll definitely book again when visiting Abilene.

I cannot say enough good things about this incredible property! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a special stay. The entire place was absolutely immaculate, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need—the hosts truly thought of every single detail to make it feel like a home away from home. The highlights of our trip were definitely the amenities. The game room provided hours of fun and entertainment for everyone, and ending our nights wrapped around the outdoor fire pit under the stars was perfection. What really pushed this stay over the top, though, was the hospitality. Our hosts were extremely hospitable, welcoming, and responsive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed while giving us complete privacy. If you are thinking about booking this place, do not hesitate. It is hands-down the best BnB experience we have ever had, and we are already planning our next trip back!

Cindy

The unit was very comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Wish parking was closer to actual entrance, but would absolutely stay there again.

Great place, great price! The host was very responsive. The neighborhood isn't the best, but that could be said for most of Abilene. I'd stay again!

Place was very peaceful. Nicely decorated and furnished. Guest house has convenient amenities. I definitely recommend this place!

Gerardo

The house was spacious with a beautiful back yard. We walked the neighborhood every morning of our stay and felt safe. The host was quick to respond and the location was convenient and easy to find.

Darla Bates

We had an absolute wonderful stay at this property! The home was incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, and the host was attentive and easy to communicate with. The host went above and beyond by providing board games, pool games, towels, a touching welcome gift, and beautiful message, which made our stay even more special. The personal touches related to our stay were unexpected, but very appreciated. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Bridget

I needed a place quick and clean after my employees had a horrible experience with a hotel. This place was great, the amenities were perfect and ended up being cheaper than some dumpy hotel.

Probably my favorite stay thus far. Extremely private and peaceful. The cleanest airbnb pool i have ever been in. The owners are so thoughtful and left me a personalized card that made my heart melt. Loved everything about this stay. If your thinking about it just go ahead and book. 10/10 highly recommended

Nastassja

Ashley

We had a great stay at this beautiful home! It was the perfect space for my niece’s surprise birthday parties, and we really enjoyed having everyone together in such a beautiful setting. There were a few minor things that needed to be addressed when we arrived, including a broken window, a garage door that wasn’t working, the pool and hot tub needing some cleaning, and some other minor things. We let the hosts know, and they were very responsive and took care of everything promptly, which we really appreciated. Overall, the home was beautiful, comfortable, and worked out wonderfully for our family celebration. The few issues we experienced were handled quickly, and we had a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Sierra

My husband and I were traveling to Abeline to say our final goodbye to my mom who was on hospice due to a 3 1/2 journey with stage 4 brain cancer. The price to stay at this beautiful place equaled the cost of the Motel 6. Upon entering the quiet and safe space, the tv had a very special greeting playing along with gospel music. Immediately made me cry! The home was perfect, with all the amenities we needed. Incredibly clean and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive. Assuring that we were comfortable and that they were available for us if there was anything we needed. My mom past away an hour and a half after we left Abeline. I’m incredibly sad but grateful that she is no longer in pain. Thank you again for your hospitality, kindness and for your help making my trip so special.

Jaime

Had a great experience while visiting thank you for everything

Host rented out a house with bad plumbing and crazy next door neighbors. When we first got there the water came out brown… The bathtub was clearly dirty and gross upon arrival, we would come to find out why later, and all the dishes were dirty. We weren’t even comfortable to use the shower and thank goodness we didn’t because our second day into our stay the toilet clogged and would not be useable for the remainder of our stay. When we tried to plunge it, the water started coming up through the bathtub drain. That would explain the terrible sewage smell we experienced after waking up on our first day. Following that, our first day there the next door neighbor screamed and banged on the door when my baby was sleeping and then proceeded to collect piles of poop and throw it all over the porch. The host responded quickly to this, but I was nervous the entire rest of my stay that she would come back. I found out later the host was aware of their plumbing issues and still rented it out.

Grace

While I appreciate your feedback, we cannot fix something we do not know about. We were not aware of the indoor plumbing issue. Prior to your stay a leak was discovered between the house and the street. Plumbers were out there for a day and a half fixing that issue outside. That had nothing to do with the indoor plumbing. We have done repairs to the indoor plumbing as well in the last month, but the issue, to our knowledge, was resolved. Not one time during your stay was the inside issue mentioned. The gentleman next door has been there for 6-months. We have gotten to know him fairly well. The story about the dog does not ring true based on what we know about the neighbor and after talking with him (you said it was woman when we spoke by the way). He did mention strongly requesting to your husband, that you clean up the dog's mess right in front of his door. When our team was there picking up the dog feces, you had a long face to face conversation. Why was the plumbing not mentioned? What about the dishes and the floors? Additionally, the neighbor keeps his boots on the back patio as not to track mud into the house. Those boots went missing during your stay. Your communicated timing of the plumbing issue has now changed for a third time. One time it was the last night you couldn't take a shower, at first mention (the night right before check-out) your husband couldn't shower for "4 going on 5" nights. You only stayed 4 nights. This time there was toilet stoppage two days in and you weren't comfortable to take a shower at all. Through all of this we were not informed of any of it. Not one time. Until you wanted a refund the night before check-out, of course. Our response to the refund request was not immediate because there were enough inconsistencies that we felt like we needed time to investigate further. Of course you still got your refund.

Our investigation included all of our cleaning and inspection reports. Those reports pictured clean floors, clean dishes (yes we require pictures of the dishes), and a perfectly clean tub. No smell was reported in either report. Unfortunately we cannot post those here. Our inspectors would have caught all of your stated issues and they certainly would have caught a sewage smell. What guest would not report such rancid, horrible conditions as described in your review? Not one word was said to us until the last day when you wanted a refund. Unfortunately, our review system had a glitch and posted an automated review before we had completed our investigation and conversations with our team, the neighbor and the plumbers. It is also of note that the other side of the duplex had no such issues, and neither has the current guest.
