Hand crafted in the mid 1930 from discarded telephone poles this cabin is most unique. The interior walls are the original knotty pine but the bath fixtures have been replaced with a modern legged soaking tub and granite topped vanity. Rest comfortably on a sealy pillow top queen sized mattress and enjoy your favorite programs on the smart tv. Refrigerator and microwave are available along with keurig coffee. Accommodation details Papaw’s Cabin is located one block west of the Abilene Civic Center in historic downtown Abilene. Please note: Due to the cozy, rustic design of PaPaw’s Cabin, some doorways and ceiling areas may feel lower for guests over 6 feet tall. We want everyone to be comfortable, so please keep this in mind when booking. Guest access This is a separate building with a private entrance and covered parking off the alley. The patio area is shared with The Webb House. Location The property is located in Historic Downtown Abilene, one block west of the Convention Center.
