Two years and a row now our dove crew has stayed at the House on Hondo. 5 men and 3 teenage boys this place never feels crowded. The outdoor space is fantastic to unwind, enjoy some horseshoes and grill.

My WHOLE family traveled from Georgia. This home felt like coming to another home. Clean, welcoming. The absolute best sleep. So many little personal touches the owners left for us. This is the house to stay at!! They are 100 stars!!!!

My family and I had a great time staying at Nathaniel’s place! The kids loved playing in the swimming pool in the backyard and we all enjoyed meals together and hanging out as well. We all were very comfortable as a group of 9 (including kids and a baby). The hosts also stocked the fridge with my family’s favorite beverages (sweet tea and dr. Pepper) which was extremely thoughtful. If you need a place to stay in Abilene for a family I’d highly recommend Nathaniel’s place!

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we weren’t able to make our stay. From everything we saw, the home looked beautiful and the amenities were exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful with their communication leading up to our reservation, which we truly appreciated. We were disappointed that we couldn’t make the trip, but hopefully we’ll have another opportunity to stay here in the future. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality!
